O' Christmas Tree...

Last Saturday afternoon we set off to find the perfect Christmas Tree!

In our previous two years of marriage we have enjoyed cutting a cedar tree from our own property. Trey surprised me this year and suggested that we go to a Christmas tree farm for something a little different. (He knows that Christmas tree farms are very dear to my heart. <3)

We drove about an hour south, singing Christmas Carols all the way...

When we arrived they directed us to the pine tree forest, where we chose the perfect tree! 

There was one odd thing, though...

Instead of sawing it down ourselves they used a chain saw and cut it for us! In all my days of Christmas tree cutting I've never had someone cut it down for me.

We weren't able to decorate it that night, but two nights later we elves had a Christmas party and decorated it to our hearts content!
